I'm a video game UI Designer currently based in Tokyo.
Since starting in the industry at 19, I've worked across the globe as a pixel artist, 3D modeller and animator in various UK cities during the 8 / 16 bit eras, and mobile artist across the Silicon Valley / San Francisco area in the USA and UI designer Kyoto, Osaka and now Tokyo in Japan.
It's been quite an adventure working alongside so many diverse people and cultures!
I try my very utmost to create entertaining and engaging user experiences in wildly varying styles across multiple platforms, specializing in Unreal Engine 4's UMG UI authoring system to create dynamic motion graphics, while keeping GPU load to a minimum.
As well as delivering UI designs from light casual titles to more core gamer focussed experiences, I've also been involved in game design, content consultant roles, music production, art direction and team management.
